What is the S.T.E.A.M. Genius Day Camp?

The Fuller Dome Center For Spirituality and Sustainability, located at Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville is hosting its first annual S.T.E.A.M. Genius Day Camp for any child between the ages of 7-12 years old.

Our S.T.E.A.M Genius Camp will be hosted from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm beginning on Monday, July 27 th , 2026 and ending on Friday, July 31 st , 2026 at our SIUE facility. Throughout the week, campers will get to participate in a variety of comprehensive activities that enhance their fundamental understanding of science, art, modern technology, and engineering. Our S.T.E.A.M. based activities include primary introductions into chemistry, engineering, physics, environmental science, art and color theory, and personal mindfulness.

Our S.T.E.A.M Genius Camp is a part of a new pilot program meant to enhance community engagement and support local youth education initiatives in core learning disciplines. Our camp also has a unique approach of enhancing our camper’s sense of community, self-assurance in critical thinking, and confidence in application of their personal skills.
